Most Athletes Don't Need More Random Training.
They Need a Clear System.

You know you need to train pull-ups, dips, squats, and muscle-ups. The problem is knowing what to do week to week: when to add load, when to repeat, when to back off, and how to keep moving when training does not feel perfect. SLU Guided Training gives you a system for that.

Guessing what to train
Not knowing when to add weight
Switching programs too often
Poor tracking
No clear path to competition

Progress Is Not Linear. Your Training System Should Account for That.

Most athletes expect progress to move in a straight line. Real training does not work that way.

Strong weeksSome weeks you feel strong and the bar moves fast.
RPE spikesSome weeks your RPE (how hard a set feels on a 1 to 10 effort scale) jumps.
Missed repsSome weeks you miss reps that felt easy before.
Life happensSleep, stress, and recovery quietly change your performance.
When training gets messy, the system gives you a next decision instead of leaving you to guess.

Answers Before You Apply

No. SLU Guided Training is a system-led membership. You are placed into an assigned training track based on your intake, not given fully custom programming written individually for you each week.
You complete a structured intake covering your goals, training experience, schedule, equipment, and current ability. Based on that, you are placed into the best-fit training track inside the SLU Guided Training System.
The Guided Portal is the member-facing platform where your training sessions are displayed, logged, and organized. When you log in, you see your assigned training track, today's session, progression data, and your training history.
Guided Training does not include unlimited video review. You get an exercise library with technical cues and biweekly check-ins. If you need detailed video review, Performance Coaching is the better fit.
Yes. You have access to community and resource support where you can ask questions and stay accountable, plus biweekly check-ins to flag issues. This is support, not direct unlimited text access to a coach.
Every two weeks. Biweekly check-ins let you report how training is going so progress can be monitored and issues caught early.
You continue inside the system, progressing through structured blocks using the progression rules in your assigned training track. You can keep going with Guided Training or upgrade when you need more individual support.
Yes. The intake places beginners into an appropriate starting training track, and the Guided Portal and progression structure are built to be followed without assuming advanced experience.
It is a strong base for building competition strength and understanding standards. Athletes close to a meet who need custom meet strategy, attempt selection, and live handling should consider Performance Coaching.
RPE stands for Rate of Perceived Exertion. It is a 1 to 10 scale used to describe how hard a set felt. An RPE 7 means you had a few reps left in the tank. An RPE 10 means you reached max effort for that set.
Access to a pull-up bar, dip station or rings, and a squat setup covers the main Streetlifting lifts. Your intake captures your equipment so your assigned training track fits what you have.
No. Coaches do not review every training session individually. You log sessions inside the Guided Portal and submit biweekly check-ins. If something needs attention, check-ins are where that gets flagged.
No. Attempt selection and meet strategy are not included in Guided Training. You get meet-day starter resources as reference. For custom attempt selection and meet strategy, Performance Coaching is the right fit.
Yes. Guided Training is the entry point into the SLU system. When your goals become more specific or you need more individual support, you can apply for Performance Coaching.
